Reagan-Udall Foundation for the Food and Drug Administration

The Reagan-Udall Foundation was established by the Food and Drug Administration Amendments Act of 2007 (FDAAA), enacted on September 27, 2007. (Public Law 110-85). The law requires that the foundation board of directors be established within 30 days and that it not include any federal employee.

The Foundation, a private and independent nonprofit corporation, was created to modernize medical, veterinary, food, food ingredient, and cosmetic product development; accelerate innovation; and enhance product safety.
