{"abstract":"This rule implements provisions of the Agriculture, Rural Development, Food and Drug Administration, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2001 (the 2001 Act) related to the Livestock Indemnity Program for Contract Growers (LIP-CG). That statute amended the time period during which eligible losses could have occurred and the Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) is publishing this rule to extend the availability of benefits under LIP-CG to include benefits for livestock losses incurred during the period January 1, 2000 through February 7, 2000.
