{"abstract":"Notice is hereby given that a complaint was filed with the U.S. International Trade Commission on February 14, 2001, under section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended, 19 U.S.C. 1337, on behalf of Gemstar-TV Guide International, Inc. of Pasadena, California and StarSight Telecast, Inc. of Fremont, California. A supplement to the complaint was filed on March 7, 2001. The complaint, as supplemented, alleges violations of section 337 in the importation into the United States, the sale for importation, and the sale within the United States after importation of certain set-top boxes and components thereof by reason of infringement of claims 18-24, 26, 27, 28, 31, 32, 33, 36, 42, 43, 48-51, 54, 57-61, and 66 of U.S. Letters Patent 4,706,121; claims 1-5 and 10-14 of U.S. Letters Patent 5,253,066; claims 1, 3, 8, and 10 of U.S. Letters Patent 5,479,268; and claims 14-17, 19, and 31-35 of U.S. Letters Patent 5,809,204. The complaint further alleges that there exists an industry in the United States as required by subsection (a)(2) of section 337.
