{"abstract":"The Coast Guard is amending its commercial vessel regulations to provide consistency in the requirements for servicing of inflatable liferafts and inflatable buoyant apparatus (IBA). This rule will eliminate an unnecessary burden on vessel operators and will eliminate confusion among the public and Coast Guard field personnel.
