{"abstract":"Advisory Circular (AC) 23-17A, Systems and Equipment Guide for Certification of Part 23 Airplanes provides information and guidance concerning acceptable means, but not the only means of compliance with Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR) part 23, subpart D from 23.671 and subpart F, applicable to the systems and equipment installation in normal, utility, acrobatic, and commuter category airplanes. The AC consolidates existing policy documents, and certain AC's that cover specific paragraphs of the regulations, into a single document and adds new guidance.
