{"abstract":"This document proposes to revise an existing airworthiness directive (AD), applicable to certain Boeing Model 757 series airplanes, that currently requires inspections, adjustments, and functional checks of the engine thrust reverser system; and modification of the engine thrust reverser directional control valve. The existing AD also requires installation of an additional thrust reverser locking feature and periodic functional tests of the locking feature following installation. This action would reduce the applicability in the existing AD.
