{"abstract":"The EPA is proposing to amend certain provisions in the new source performance standards (NSPS) for electric arc furnaces (EAF) constructed after October 21, 1974, and on or before August 17, 1983, and the NSPS for EAF constructed after August 17, 1983. The proposed changes add alternative requirements for monitoring emissions from EAF exhausts.
