Purpose of the Program: To provide assistance to economically disadvantaged and minority graduate students who participate in community development work study programs, are U.S. citizens or resident aliens, and are enrolled full-time in a graduate community building academic degree program. Available Funds: Approximately $3 million from Fiscal Year (FY) 2002 appropriations (plus any additional funds recaptured from prior appropriations). Eligible Applicants: Institutions of higher education, area-wide planning organizations (APOs), and States. Application Deadline: March 11, 2002.
