{"abstract":"On August 17, 2001, the Department of Commerce (the Department) published in the Federal Register its preliminary affirmative determination in the countervailing duty investigation of softwood lumber products (subject merchandise) from Canada for the period April 1, 2000, through March 31, 2001 (66 FR 43186). The net subsidy rate in the final determination differs from that of the preliminary determination.
