{"abstract":"This document amends the Commission's rules to extend the January 1, 2005 ban on integrated navigation devices until July 1, 2006. This extension is needed since the state of the navigation devices market will be significantly impacted by ongoing industry negotiations for a bidirectional specification for digital cable receivers and products, rendering compliance with the existing January 1, 2005 ban impracticable.
