{"abstract":"We, the FWS and NMFS (collectively \"the Services\") announce a 12-month finding on a petition to reclassify the Northern and Florida Panhandle subpopulations of the loggerhead sea turtle (Caretta caretta), a species now listed as threatened throughout its range, as distinct population segments (DPSs) with endangered status and to designate critical habitat under the Endangered Species Act of 1973 (ESA), as amended.
