{"abstract":"The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) proposes a new system of records subject to the Privacy Act of 1974, as amended. This system, if adopted, will include personal information pertaining to individuals who submit information to DHS related to applications for designation of a technology as a Qualified Anti-Terrorism Technology (QATT) or for certification of a QATT for purposes of the government contractor defense and inclusion on an approved product list for DHS, both under provisions of Subtitle G of Title VIII of the Homeland Security Act of 2002--the Support Anti-Terrorism by Fostering Effective Technologies Act of 2002 (\"the SAFETY Act\" or \"the Act\"). The Homeland Security Act of 2002 is Public Law 107-296, 6 U.S.C. 441-444.
