{"abstract":"The Board of Trustees of the Valles Caldera Trust proposes to adopt procedures for implementation of National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) to aid the overall management and public use of the Valles Caldera National Preserve. The NEPA procedures for the Trust are intended to supplement federal NEPA procedures of the Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) found at 40 CFR part 1500 through 1508 and adopted by the Board of Trustees on August 8, 2001. The final NEPA procedures of the Trust are to be maintained by the Trust and will be readily available to the public. It is anticipated that as experience is gained in the implementation of the Trust's NEPA procedures, appropriate improvements will be proposed. Notice of the adoption of final NEPA procedures will be published in the Federal Register.
