{"abstract":"We, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service), propose to designate critical habitat for the Colorado butterfly plant (Gaura neomexicana ssp. coloradensis) pursuant to the Endangered Species Act of 1973, as amended (Act). In total, approximately 8,486 acres (ac) (3,434 hectares (ha)) along approximately 113.1 stream miles (mi) (182.2 kilometers (km)) fall within the boundaries of the proposed critical habitat designation.
