{"abstract":"Owners of motion pictures that have been published must submit copies of their movies to the Copyright Office for the Library of Congress to use and include in its collections. This mandatory deposit requirement may be satisfied at the same time that an application for copyright registration is submitted. In order to obtain copies of superior quality when works are published in more than one format, the Library of Congress established \"best edition\" requirements.
