{"abstract":"This rule implements a new law, enacted as part of HUD's Fiscal Year (FY) 2006 appropriations, that restricts individuals enrolled in an institution of higher education and who meet certain other requirements from receiving assistance under section 8 of the U.S. Housing Act of 1937. The new law directed HUD to issue a final rule within 30 days of enactment of the new law.
