{"abstract":"On August 11, 2005, the Economic Development Administration (\"EDA\") published an interim final rule to reflect the amendments made to EDA's authorizing statute, the Public Works and Economic Development Act of 1965, by the Economic Development Administration Reauthorization Act of 2004. A ninety-three (93) day public comment period followed the publication of the interim final rule, specifically from August 11, 2005 through November 14, 2005. On December 15, 2005, EDA published an interim final rule that amended certain provisions of the August 11, 2005 interim final rule. EDA received a large number of public comments on different portions of the August 11, 2005 interim final rule.
