{"abstract":"EPA has received a specific exemption request from the Texas Department of Agriculture to use the pesticide propazine (CAS No. 139- 40-2) to treat up to 3,000,000 acres of cotton to control glyphosate- resistant Palmer amaranth. The applicant proposes the use of a pesticide that contains the active ingredient propazine, which belongs to the triazine class of pesticides.
