{"abstract":"This is notice, in accordance with 35 U.S.C. 209 and 37 CFR part 404, that the National Institutes of Health, Department of Health and Human Services, is contemplating the grant of an exclusive start-up option license to practice the inventions embodied in U.S. Patent Application 61/706,396 entitled \"Mesothelin Antibodies And Methods For Eliciting Potent Antitumor Activity\" [HHS Ref. E-236-2012/0-US-01], PCT Application PCT/US2013/059883 entitled \"Mesothelin Antibodies And Methods For Eliciting Potent Antitumor Activity\" [HHS Ref. E-236-2012/ 0-PCT-02], and all related continuing and foreign patents/patent applications for the technology family, to Oncolinx Pharmaceuticals, LLC. The patent rights in these inventions have been assigned to and/or exclusively licensed to the Government of the United States of America. The prospective exclusive start-up option licensed territory may be worldwide, and the field of use may be limited to: The use of bispecific antibodies having: (a) The complementary determining regions (CDRs) of the monoclonal antibody SD1; and (b) the CDRs of an anti-CD3 antibody, for the treatment of mesothelin-expressing cancers. The Licensed Field of Use explicitly excludes the use of the CDR sequences of SD1 in a monospecific antibody, or in the form of an immunotoxin, antibody-drug conjugate, or chimeric antigen receptor. Upon the expiration or termination of the exclusive start-up option license, Oncolinx Pharmaceuticals, LLC will have the exclusive right to execute an exclusive commercialization license which will supersede and replace the exclusive start-up option license with no greater field of use and territory than granted in the exclusive start-up option license.","action":"Notice.","agencies":[{"raw_name":"DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES","name":"Health and Human Services Department","id":221,"url":"https://www.federalregister.gov/agencies/health-and-human-services-department","json_url":"https://www.federalregister.gov/api/v1/agencies/221","parent_id":null,"slug":"health-and-human-services-department"},{"raw_name":"National Institutes of Health","name":"National Institutes of Health","id":353,"url":"https://www.federalregister.gov/agencies/national-institutes-of-health","json_url":"https://www.federalregister.gov/api/v1/agencies/353","parent_id":221,"slug":"national-institutes-of-health"}],"body_html_url":"https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/full_text/html/2015/05/04/2015-10276.html","cfr_references":[],"citation":"80 FR 25309","comment_url":null,"comments_close_on":"2015-05-19","correction_of":null,"corrections":[],"dates":"Only written comments and/or applications for a license which are received by the NIH Office of Technology Transfer on or before May 19, 2015 will be considered.","disposition_notes":null,"docket_ids":[],"dockets":[],"document_number":"2015-10276","effective_on":null,"end_page":25310,"executive_order_notes":null,"executive_order_number":null,"full_text_xml_url":"https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/full_text/xml/2015/05/04/2015-10276.xml","html_url":"https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/2015/05/04/2015-10276/prospective-grant-of-exclusive-option-license-the-development-of-a-single-domain-human","images":{},"images_metadata":{},"json_url":"https://www.federalregister.gov/api/v1/documents/2015-10276?publication_date=2015-05-04","mods_url":"https://www.govinfo.gov/metadata/granule/FR-2015-05-04/2015-10276/mods.xml","not_received_for_publication":null,"page_length":2,"page_views":{"count":128,"last_updated":"2026-10-25 02:15:05 -0400"},"pdf_url":"https://www.govinfo.gov/content/pkg/FR-2015-05-04/pdf/2015-10276.pdf","presidential_document_number":null,"proclamation_number":null,"public_inspection_pdf_url":"https://public-inspection.federalregister.gov/2015-10276.pdf?1430484340","publication_date":"2015-05-04","raw_text_url":"https://www.federalregister.gov/documents/full_text/text/2015/05/04/2015-10276.txt","regulation_id_number_info":{},"regulation_id_numbers":[],"regulations_dot_gov_info":{"checked_regulationsdotgov_at":"2023-03-01T01:10:06Z"},"regulations_dot_gov_url":null,"significant":null,"signing_date":null,"start_page":25309,"subtype":null,"title":"Prospective Grant of Exclusive Option License: The Development of a Single Domain Human Anti-Mesothelin Monoclonal Antibody as a Bispecific Antibody for the Treatment of Human Cancers.","toc_doc":"Development of a Single Domain Human Anti-Mesothelin Monoclonal Antibody as a Bispecific Antibody for the Treatment of Human Cancers","toc_subject":"Exclusive Licenses:","topics":[],"type":"Notice","volume":80}
