{"abstract":"In accordance with the Engle Act of 1958 and the Federal Land Policy and Management Act of 1976, as amended, (FLPMA), the Department of the Navy (DON) has amended its 2016 Engle Act application for withdrawal to add 92,482.45 acres of public lands and 1,001 acres of non-federally owned lands to its original application for the withdrawal and reservation by Congress of 678,670.69 acres of public lands.
