{"abstract":"On July 17, 2018, the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) published in the Federal Register a notice of proposed rulemaking for public comment that proposes a new regulatory capital framework for the Federal National Mortgage Association (Fannie Mae) and the Federal Home Loan Mortgage Corporation (Freddie Mac). The comment period was set to expire on September 17, 2018.
