{"abstract":"This action proposes to amend the Class D airspace, Class E surface airspace, and Class E airspace extending upward from 700 feet above the surface and establish a Class E airspace area designated as an extension to Class D and Class E surface areas at La Crosse Regional Airport, La Crosse, WI. The FAA is proposing this action as the result of an airspace review caused by the decommissioning of the La Crosse VHF omnidirectional range (VOR) navigation aid, which provided navigation information for the instrument procedures at this airport, as part of the VOR Minimum Operational Network (MON) Program. The geographic coordinates of La Crosse Regional Airport and the name of La Crosse Regional Airport and Mayo Clinic Health System-Franciscan Healthcare, La Crosse, WI, would also be updated to coincide with the FAA's aeronautical database.
