{"abstract":"DoD is seeking information that will assist in the development of a revision to the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement to implement sections of the National Defense Authorization Acts for Fiscal Years 2018 and 2019. In brief, for DoD only, those provisions provide for the negotiation of a price for technical data to be delivered under contracts for the engineering and manufacturing development, production, or sustainment of a major weapon system; and a preference for specially negotiated licenses for customized technical data to support the product support strategy of a major weapon system or subsystem
