{"abstract":"The Assistant Secretary of Defense for Health Affairs (ASD(HA)) issues this interim final rule with comment to: Provide an exception to the prohibition on telephone, audio-only telehealth services; to authorize reimbursement for interstate or international practice by TRICARE-authorized providers when such authority is consistent with governing state, federal, or host nation licensing requirements; and to eliminate copayments and cost-shares for telehealth services. The changes in this rule will be effective for the period of the coronavirus 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic.
