{"abstract":"The Sentencing Commission hereby gives notice of an amendment to the policy statement and commentary in the Guidelines Manual that provides for a reduction in a defendant's term of imprisonment as a result of an amended guideline range. The amendment includes Parts A and B, Subpart 1 of Amendment 821 (Amendment 8 of the amendments submitted to Congress on April 27, 2023) in the policy statement as an amendment that may be available for retroactive application.
