{"abstract":"This document provides notice of the pendency before the Department of Labor (the Department) of a proposed individual exemption from certain of the prohibited transaction restrictions of the Employee Retirement Income Security Act of 1974 (ERISA or the Act) and/or the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 (the Code). The Department previously issued an individual prohibited transaction exemption (PTE) 2023-14 that allowed certain asset managers related to UBS (the Applicant) and Credit Suisse Group AG (CSAG) to continue to rely on the exemptive relief provided by Prohibited Transaction Exemption 84-14 for one year following UBS' acquisition of CSAG.
