{"abstract":"The FAA is adopting a new airworthiness directive (AD) for certain Embraer S.A. Model ERJ 170 airplanes. This AD was prompted by a manufacturing quality escape concerning some overheat detection system (ODS) sensing elements. This AD requires inspecting the ODS sensing elements and performing applicable corrective actions, and prohibits the installation of affected parts, as specified in an Ag[ecirc]ncia Nacional de Avia[ccedil][atilde]o Civil (ANAC) AD, which is incorporated by reference.
