{"abstract":"This final rule has finalized certain proposals from a proposed rule published in August 2024 and in doing so advances interoperability and supports the access, exchange, and use of electronic health information. Specifically, this final rule amends the information blocking regulations by including definitions related to the Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement (TEFCA) Manner Exception. It also implements provisions related to the TEFCA, which will support the reliability, privacy, security, and trust within TEFCA.
