{"abstract":"The Coast Guard is amending the current temporary safety zone in the vicinity of the West Passage Narraganset Bay, Jamestown, RI, in two ways. First, we are extending the effective period by 30 days to January 31, 2025. Second, by updating the name of the cable laying vessel. The temporary safety zone is needed to protect personnel, vessels, and the marine environment from potential hazards created by cable laying operations being conducted.
