{"abstract":"The U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) is issuing three exemptions requested by Maine Yankee Atomic Power Company (Maine Yankee). The requested exemptions are from NRC regulations that require compliance with the terms, conditions, and specifications of Certificate of Compliance (CoC) No. 1015 for the NAC-UMS[supreg] Universal Storage System at Maine Yankee's Independent Spent Fuel Storage Installation (ISFSI). Maine Yankee currently stores sixty NAC- UMS[supreg] Systems under Amendment No. 6 to CoC No. 1015.
