{"abstract":"This regulation establishes an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance for residues of methyl end-capped polydimethylsiloxane (CAS Reg. No 63148-62-9); also known as dimethylpolysiloxane when used as an inert ingredient in a pesticide chemical formulation under 40 CFR 180.960. Momentive Performance Materials, Inc submitted a petition to EPA under the Federal Food, Drug, and Cosmetic Act (FFDCA), requesting an exemption from the requirement of a tolerance.
