{"abstract":"The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) finds that the Muskingum River sulfur dioxide (SO<INF>2</INF>) nonattainment area, located in Center Township in Morgan County and Waterford Township in Washington County, Ohio, (hereafter referred to as \"Muskingum River area\") is attaining the 2010 SO<INF>2</INF> National Ambient Air Quality Standard (NAAQS). The EPA is acting in accordance with Ohio's March 31, 2025, request to redesignate the Muskingum River area from nonattainment to attainment for the 2010 SO<INF>2</INF> NAAQS because the request meets the statutory requirements for redesignation under the Clean Air Act (CAA). The EPA is also approving Ohio's maintenance plan for the area and Ohio's Director's Final Findings and Orders (DFFOs) issued to Globe Metallurgical, Inc.
