The FAA is taking this action due to the planned decommissioning of the VOR portion of the Mount Pleasant, MI VOR/Distance Measuring Equipment (DME) navigational aid (NAVAID). The VOR portion of this NAVAID is being decommissioned as part of the FAA's VOR Minimum Operational Network (MON) program.
