{"abstract":"Findings of research misconduct have been made against Ariel Fernandez, Ph.D. (also known as Ariel Fernandez Stigliano), former Karl F. Hasselmann Chaired Professor of Engineering, Department of Bioengineering, Rice University. Dr. Fernandez engaged in research misconduct under 42 CFR part 93 in research supported by U.S. Public Health Service (PHS) funds, specifically National Institute of General Medical Sciences (NIGMS), National Institutes of Health (NIH), grant R01 GM072614.
