(Kawasaki) has determined that certain model year (MY) 1979-1981 and MY 2017-2025 Kawasaki motorcycles do not fully comply with Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 122, Motorcycle Brake Systems. Kawasaki filed a noncompliance report dated November 4, 2025, and subsequently petitioned NHTSA (the \"Agency\") on November 5, 2025, for a decision that the subject noncompliance is inconsequential as it relates to motor vehicle safety.
