{"abstract":"In compliance with the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (PRA), this notice announces that the Information Collection Request (ICR) summarized below will be submitted to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review and approval. The ICR describes the nature of the information collection and its expected burden. This ICR is for NHTSA's information collection for incident reporting requirements for Automated Driving Systems (ADS) and Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS). NHTSA previously requested and received a three-year approval of this information collection. NHTSA now requests OMB's approval for a three-year reinstatement of this previously approved information collection with modifications. These modifications streamlined reporting requirements to reduce burdens compared to the prior version of this information collection and sharpened the focus on safety critical information.
