{"abstract":"On April 5, 1995 (60 FR 17388), HUD published an interim rule amending its regulations governing public housing, Indian housing, and assisted housing programs by adding nine exclusions to the definition of annual income. The interim rule also added provisions that implement a statutory change to the definition of adjusted income for the Indian housing program, and made two technical corrections to the existing regulations. This rule finalizes the policies and procedures set forth in the April 5, 1995 interim rule and takes into consideration the public comments received on the interim rule.
