{"abstract":"This amendment adopts a new airworthiness directive (AD), applicable to certain Airbus Model A300-600 series airplanes, that requires repetitive inspections to detect fatigue cracking in the left and right wings in the area where the top skin attaches to the center spar; and repair or modification of this area, if necessary. This amendment is prompted by a report from the manufacturer indicating that, during full-scale fatigue testing of the airframe, fatigue cracking was detected in this area.
