{"abstract":"This document proposes the adoption of a new airworthiness directive (AD) that is applicable to certain Boeing Model 747 series airplanes. This proposal would require removal of cable guards in the lateral control system and replacement with new, improved cable guards. This proposal is prompted by reports of high control wheel forces and restricted control wheel movement.
