{"abstract":"The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) is announcing the public comment period for the draft document titled, \"Integrated Science Assessment for Sulfur Oxides Health Criteria; First External Review Draft\" (EPA/600/R-07/108). The draft document was prepared by the National Center for Environmental Assessment within EPA's Office of Research and Development as part of the Agency's review of the air quality criteria for sulfur oxides and the primary (health-based) national ambient air quality standards (NAAQS) for sulfur dioxide (SO<INF>2</INF>). EPA is releasing this draft document solely for the purpose of seeking comment from the public and the Clean Air Scientific Advisory Committee (CASAC). It does not represent and should not be construed to represent any Agency policy, viewpoint, or determination.
