{"abstract":"EPA is proposing to amend the new source performance standards for electric utility steam generating units and industrial-commercial- institutional steam generating units. On June 13, 2007, EPA promulgated amendments to the standards for steam generating units. Subsequently, EPA received a petition for reconsideration which it is granting to the extent specified in the proposed action. EPA is proposing to amend specific provisions in the standards for steam generating units, as amended, to resolve issues and questions raised by the petitioner for reconsideration, and to correct technical and editorial errors that have been identified since promulgation.
