AGENCY:

ACTION:

Proposed rule.

SUMMARY:

This document requests comments on a petition for rule making filed by Katherine Pyeatt, requesting the allotment of Channel 239C2 to Rule, Texas, as that community's first local aural transmission service. This proposal requires a site restriction 12.7 kilometers (7.9 miles) east of the community at coordinates 33-13-01 NL and 99-45-45 WL.

DATES:

Comments must be filed on or before September 24, 2001, and reply comments on or before October 9, 2001.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:

This is a synopsis of the Commission's Notice of Proposed Rule Making, MM Docket No. 01-183, adopted July 25, 2001, and released August 3, 2001. Provisions of the Regulatory Flexibility Act of 1980 do not apply to this proceeding.
