While every effort has been made to ensure that the material on FederalRegister.gov is accurately displayed, consistent with the official SGML-based PDF version on govinfo.gov, those relying on it for legal research should verify their results against an official edition of the Federal Register. Until the ACFR grants it official status, the XML rendition of the daily Federal Register on FederalRegister.gov does not provide legal notice to the public or judicial notice to the courts.

Type of Request: Extension of a currently approved collection.
Abstract: Manufacturers of passenger cars, trucks, and multipurpose passenger vehicles with a gross vehicle weight rating of 4,536 kilograms or less and buses with a gross vehicle weight rating of 3,860 kilograms or less required to respond to NHTSA inquiries, to submit a report, concerning the number of such vehicles that meet the upper interior component head impact protection requirements of Standard No. 201, Occupant Protection in Interior Impact (49 CFR 571.201).
Affected Public: Businesses and for-profit institutions.
Estimated Total Annual Burden: 1,260.
