The documents posted on this site are XML renditions of published Federal Register documents. Each document posted on the site includes a link to the corresponding official PDF file on govinfo.gov. This prototype edition of the daily Federal Register on FederalRegister.gov will remain an unofficial informational resource until the Administrative Committee of the Federal Register (ACFR) issues a regulation granting it official legal status. The OFR/GPO partnership is committed to presenting accurate and reliable regulatory information on FederalRegister.gov with the objective of establishing the XML-based Federal Register as an ACFR-sanctioned publication in the future. While every effort has been made to ensure that the material on FederalRegister.gov is accurately displayed, consistent with the official SGML-based PDF version on govinfo.gov, those relying on it for legal research should verify their results against an official edition of the Federal Register. Until the ACFR grants it official status, the XML rendition of the daily Federal Register on FederalRegister.gov does not provide legal notice to the public or judicial notice to the courts.

Notice; change of meeting location and time.
The U.S. Commission on Ocean Policy will hold its fourth regional meeting, the Commission's sixth public meeting, to hear and discuss coastal and ocean issues of concern to the Southwest region of the United States, covering the coastal area of California. Notice of this meeting was originally published on March 25, 2002. The purpose of this second notice is to provide the new meeting location and time.
Public meetings will now be held Thursday, April 18, 2002 from 10:30 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. and Friday, April 19, 2002 from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The meeting location is now the John M. Olguin Auditorium, Cabrillo Marine Aquarium, 3720 Stephen White Drive, San Pedro, California.Start Further Info

This meeting is being held pursuant to requirements under the Oceans Act of 2000 (Pub. L. 106-256, Section 3(e)(1)(E)). The agenda will include presentations by invited speakers representing local and regional government agencies and non-governmental organizations, comments from the public and any required administrative discussions and executive sessions. Invited speakers and members of the public are requested to submit their statements for the record electronically by April 10, 2002 to the meeting Point of Contact. Public comment periods are scheduled for Thursday, April 18 and Friday, April 19.
