Take notice that on September 17, 2007, the Deputy Secretary, U.S. Department of Energy, pursuant to the authority vested on the Deputy Secretary by the Department of Energy's Delegation Order Nos. 00-001.00C and 00-037.00, and by sections 301(b), 302(a), 402(e), 641, 642, 643 and 644 of the Department of Energy Organization Act (Pub. L. 95091), submitted for confirmation and approval on a final basis, the annual power rate increase for the sale of power and energy by the Southwestern Power Administration from the Sam Rayburn Dam to the Sam Rayburn Dam Electric Cooperative, Inc., under Contract No. DE-PM-75-92SW00215, effective October 1, 2007 and ending September 30, 2012.
Any person desiring to intervene or to protest this filing must file in accordance with Rules 211 and 214 of the Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure (18 CFR 385.211, 385.214). Protests will be considered by the Commission in determining the appropriate action to be taken, but will not serve to make protestants parties to the proceeding.
