SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:

By notice herein given, pursuant to section 10(a)(2) of the Federal Advisory Committee Act, 5 U.S.C. App. (1988), a public meeting of the ACT will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2009, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Internal Revenue Service; 1111 Constitution Ave., NW.; Room 3313; Washington, DC. Issues to be discussed relate to Employee Plans, Exempt Organizations, and Government Entities. Due to an administrative error, less than 15 days notice is provided for this meeting.

Reports from four ACT subgroups cover the following topics:

  • Exempt Organizations: Recommendations to Improve the Tax Rules Governing International Grantmaking.
  • Employee Plans: International Pension Issues in a Global Economy: A Survey and Assessment of IRS' Role in Breaking Down the Barriers. Start Printed Page 26273
  • Tax Exempt Bonds: Record Retention Requirements for Tax-Exempt Bonds and Tax Credit Bonds: A Specific Proposal for Published Guidance.
  • Federal, State and Local Governments: Federal-State-Local Government Compliance Verification Checklist for Public Employers
