All DAC meetings are open to the public. The 15-member DAC advises the Secretary of the Interior, through the BLM, on a variety of planning and management issues associated with public land management on BLM-administered lands in the California Desert District. The agenda will include time for public comment at the beginning and end of the meeting, as well as during various presentations. While the Saturday meeting is tentatively scheduled from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., the meeting could conclude earlier if the DAC completes its presentations and discussions early. Members of the public interested in a particular agenda item or discussion should schedule their arrival accordingly. The agenda for the Saturday meeting will include information on mining projects, and updates from DAC members, the BLM California Desert District Manager, and DAC subgroups. Written comments will also be accepted at the time of the meeting and, if copies are provided to the recorder, will be incorporated into the minutes.

Before including your address, phone number, email address, or other personally identifiable information in your comment, be aware that your entire comment—including your personally identifiable information—may be made publicly available at any time. While you can ask in your comment that the BLM withhold your personally identifiable information from public review, the BLM cannot guarantee that it will be able to do so.
