Proposed rule.
EPA is proposing to approve a request submitted by the Michigan Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) on October 26, 2007, to revise the Michigan State Implementation Plan (SIP). The State has requested revisions to two rules in Part 6, “Emission Limitations and Prohibitions—Existing Sources of Volatile Organic Compound (VOC) Emissions.” The State has revised R 336.1660 by adopting by reference, with some modifications, the amended Ozone Transport Commission Model Rule published on September 13, 2006. The State has amended the definition of VOC in R 336.1661 by adopting the Federal definition from 40 CFR 51.100.
Comments must be received on or before June 22, 2009.
