The GEAR UP annual performance report asks for information specific to the budget year for which the report is being submitted. The final performance report asks for information specific to the last budget year of the grant, and also requires the grantee to update the enrollment and graduation data of all students who have participated in a GEAR UP program at any time during the project period.

Section 3506 of the Paperwork Reduction Act of 1995 (44 U.S.C. Chapter 35) requires that Federal agencies provide interested parties an early opportunity to comment on information collection requests.
