2015 Federal Register Liaison Conference

On June 2, 2015, the Office of the Federal Register (OFR) hosted its 3rd Annual Federal Register Liaison Conference in the National Archives’ McGowan Theater. What exactly is a Federal Register Liaison? Each federal agency is required to designate an individual as a point of contact for all documents their agency publishes in the Federal Register. Our office notifies this liaison of all publication dates and works with them on any issues that arise through the production process.

This year’s conference, which was open to federal agency liaisons and streamed live on YouTube, covered a range of different topics. Emily Bremmer was our guest speaker from the Administrative Conference of the United States (ACUS). She discussed the role of the ACUS in administrative law as well as some of the subjects the Conference is addressing in the next year. Several OFR staff members discussed a number of other topics related to the publications produced by our office.
